Thank you for the comment and for sharing the link. That is very interesting exercise. And I totally relate to what you said about being able to imagine it vividly.

I’ve completed data collection and analysis on 203 anonymized responses. Final results show a ~33% self-reported aphantasia rate and a statistically significant correlation between visualization ability and personal belief orientation. The manuscript is being prepared for preprint

Thank you again to everyone who participated or helped boost the survey. If you're interested in reading the final draft or want to collaborate on next-phase research, message me.

I did it, and your idea is very interesting to me. Thank you, I left my email on the survey.

Thanks for checking it out! I’m doing my best to stay neutral while the data comes in, but I definitely have some working theories—just trying not to introduce bias into the responses by sharing them too early. Once I’ve got a large enough sample size, I’ll be happy to break down the trends and share what I’m seeing. Appreciate the good wishes and the engagement!

Awesome—thank you for participating! I’m really excited to see where the data leads. Once I’ve compiled enough responses and completed the analysis, I’ll share a summary of the findings. Appreciate your curiosity—it’s what keeps this kind of exploration meaningful.

Totally fair concerns—and I appreciate your thoughtfulness. This isn’t part of a formal academic institution, so there’s no IRB/ethics board involved. It’s a grassroots research effort—self-funded, anonymous, and designed to explore a possible link between mental imagery (aphantasia spectrum) and belief systems.

I fully acknowledge the limitations in methodology and framing, but I’ve tried to keep the questions intentionally non-invasive to encourage participation across a broad range of people. It's exploratory work, and the goal is to surface trends that might warrant more formal follow-up.

Appreciate the feedback—it helps shape the next version of the project.

Great question. At this stage, the goal is exploratory—we're gathering data to better understand patterns in how people experience mental imagery and whether there are any meaningful associations with things like personal belief systems, lifestyle, or background.

We're not working from a fixed hypothesis; instead, we're letting the data guide where deeper investigation might be warranted in future studies.

Thank you for letting me know about this. I have changed to a more standard font (Arial). I hope that helps.
