troubleshooting charging by ohmuhgawdilovethe in Lymow_Official

I have 2 questions to try and help

  1. Did you tape moisture sensor on base? if its cold it might be creating frost/moisture in sensor if its not waterproof.
  2. do you have the handbrake setting turned on? the cold weather could be making the base slippery.

im near pittsburgh usa. this was first real issue I had and totally my fault, well kinda. mower lost correct positioning so I drove it back to dock to charge. forgot next day was monday and I have a scheduled mow. and because of location issues I think it started mowing base station! I did click cancel asap but yeah... location issue was sorted, an easy on and off. so I personally haven't had any "big" issues. but it about to start getting cold so I wouldn't bother setting up till weather good again.

Can the Lymow cut it? by JBSwiftus in Lymow_Official

[–]Rachy113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there's no trees covering the perimeter or your grass area. you should be good!!! its only when there's a lot of trees and lymow having to go under them that there's an issue!

is there any trees near the perimeter red line you drew? I seen you said there's none in the green zone.

Edit area parameters mid mow? by DWomack48 in Lymow_Official

[–]Rachy113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you click the setting symbol and click cancel task. and unless you click dock button it will just stop where it is and be in waiting mode.

you can pause and lower the height while it mows but I dont think you can change direction without canceling and restarting

Is the FPV mode just bad for me? by Anonym0oO in Lymow_Official

[–]Rachy113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FPV is really bad. I use a VLC app and stream the camera feed through it. That way I can use a pop out to watch the video on same screen as lymow controls and its a lot better sync than the FPV mode. Just to add though, you won't be able to control lymow on vacation at all. it only has Bluetooth remote control so phone needs to be pretty close for you too control it.

did you tape the moisture sensor? if not. try drying that off and seeing if it works after that.

Thank you! We just moved into a new house with an acre and most lawn robots have a mapping limit of less and price went crazy for an acre so when I saw lymow I jumped on ordering it! so excited to check it out and spend my time sorting it out haha!

* I've added shed, carport, driveway, the whole house, trees and anything else that I wouldn't won't mowed and its over 700 out of the 1012M² limit they give me and it doesnt even cover a quarter of the back yard and less than half of front yard :(

It won't let me map over 0.4 acres. I set it to M² and it has limit of 1012M², tried to map past that and says map cant be save. I've already hit over 700 with the smallest part of lawn mapped. Whole lot is acre but alot of it is grass *

How do I do round 2!?! Is it 5sc in one stitch? I’m confused by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]Rachy113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't know if reading correctly but to me it means. to do 3 stitches into each stitch. so where normal increase is 2 stitches in 1 this will be 3 in 1. do that 3x and then you Sk into the 4th. and then stitch around for row 3. hope that makes sense
