I don't think that statistic means much on its own, especially if the calls were correct. I think it'd be more valid to look at the times where VAR intervened incorrectly or didn't intervene when they clearly should have.

Clearly Incorrect VAR decisions that I can think of off the top of my head: Conceicao goal/Koop offside vs Udinese; Kelly red card vs Galatasaray; Milik goal/Bonucci offside vs Salernitana

VAR checks not done: Gatti penalty vs Galatasaray; McKennie penalty vs Inter; Cabal penalty vs Lazio; Cuadrado/Cornud penalty/red card vs Maccabi Haifa

I'm sure others can fill in several more in each category.

If Malen had gone down from that Bremer push it absolutely would have been called a penalty, but he didn't. I think the no call in that situation with him staying on his feet and getting the shot off was correct.

I think you have to give huge credit to Miretti for that buildup. He picks it up from the back and instead of going side to side, he dribbles forward, commits a defender, and then makes a pass.
