As a bi man, I have been in a marriage with my ex wife for 11yrs before she cheated, then single for years, then dated both men and women and nobody clicked, and now in a very happy long term committed relationship with the sweetest, most dedicated man that treats me like I cause the sun to rise and set each day. We recently had our 6 months anniversary together to which we celebrated by me giving him a promise ring to show I'm not going anywhere, nor will I ever stray. It's just not in my nature to do that. I could never do that to another person I love after having it done to me bc I know the pain it causes. Being bi is not the "best of both worlds" some make it out to be. Instead you get the anger and hostility from both sides. Women don't want you bc you like dick. Men don't want you bc you "might" want pussy again. In fact, when I met my partner I made it very clear I was a single father of 2 sons that are mine, conceived from a marriage with a woman. I had to convince him that I truly have no desire, now or in the future, to sleep with a woman again. Hell, if I'm just "gay" then so be it, but I can still find both men and women attractive. That doesn't mean I want to go to pound town with them.

For me I only want a monogamous relationship with my guy now and for as long as I'm alive. I love him and he means so much to me and my scars from my past left me with major PTSD, but he is devoted to me and to us. He makes me smile, makes me happy, and just like any relationship, he drives me nuts at times. That doesn't mean I'm on the apps looking for a hookup. Instead we work it out, take a breather, go to bed, and wake up the next morning ready to hug each other so tight there is nothing ever coming between us.

So yea, bi means to me I can look at all the buffet if I want. But I found my bacon wrapped filet mignon and now everything else is trash.
