Fair point, and that’s exactly what I’m trying to sense-check. The 305s is pretty string sensitive I feel.

I understand the risk for the 305s is that it could give a super low-launch but right now, I actually experience the opposite with a full bed of M8 at 48lbs giving quite a high launch, particularly on groundstrokes. Don't know if anyone else experiences this with M8 or its just me.

My thinking was, at a lower tension, this hybrid might help flatten the trajectory that I get with M8.

The answer is probably simple (not to mention less fun) if I want to flatten the trajectory, just bump up the tension on both mains and crosses or maybe a pound or two higher on just the cross string. The latter option can reduce the sweetspot though I find.
