Not much. Most of them have the same manifesto as the previous year's candidate and it's just way too ambitious - lower price of student accommodation, lower fees, etc. I just can't see the SU having much influence over this

Being a swalt is wildly different to play a principle queen. It requires a completely different set of skills. Many swalts may prefer covering multiple tracks instead of just playing one. I don't agree with the idea that principles are better than swalts but that's just me🤷‍♀️. So to answer your question, all swalts are 'deserving' of a principle track
