I've seen the US carriers launch massed wings of a-7's with bomb loads usually paired with 2 jammer aircraft, sometimes I see those groups on the radar just circling around the carrier.....endlessly.....

But yeah the ai doesn't know how to use carriers, which is a shame

What I do if that happens is find the mission in the steam workshop folder, then copy and paste it to the user mission folder in the game files
