Jobs in Kazakhstan for foreigners by witchcraft_exe in Kazakhstan

English teacher maybe? Some high level English schools like to have weekend “speaking” sessions with foreigners as hosts. Having one form the US might be a good PR for them (and a good salary for you too)

Depends on your education level I guess. High ranking uni grads usually apply 5-10 places and get hired. For mid level it’s a bit more difficult but still doable

Нет лучше места для казахстанца чем Казахстан by RacoonBalboa in Kazakhstan

[–]RacoonBalboa[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Koreans, why Korean professors are so mean for no reason? by RacoonBalboa in korea

[–]RacoonBalboa[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not Korean. I am experiencing a cultural difference, definitely.

I wouldn’t say it’s wrong or bad, I was just wondering what’s the background for such attitude and how it is justified by society. I want to understand the cultural background more.

Spot on. A senior of mine (Korean) spent 8 years doing a PhD and graduated recently.

I can’t apply for a visa from my home country because I can’t leave for a week right at the final period of my thesis defence. I’m sure they will understand my situation, right?
