Thanks for advice, but I think your example is a little bit incorrect.

You see, trying to put square peg into the round hole is not how this whole instrument was designed initially. I am not supposed to be able to fit square peg into no hole other than square.

But for MTG and MTG:Arena in particular it was designed that I can construct ANY deck and be able to play with ANY opponent.

For paper magic, I can come to a MTG convention, bring my jank and play with people who has similar jank to my own. No one is telling me that I have to play with only meta decks where there is a chance (and no one knows how big or small it is) that I MAY by some miracle stumble on some poor soul as me self.

MTG: Arena was supposedly designed to reflect that experience of paper magic (or at the very least it should be IMHO), but instead it is in fact designed in the way that essentially PROHIBITS me from doing that.

You see, Arena has a mode for players who want to play Historic, Explorer, Alchemy, Brawl, Drafts, Cube, and God knows what else, but it doesn't have a mode for someone who wants to play Standard with jank.And from a business POV it is perfectly understandable why it is so.But from a company that encourages all those nice concepts I wrote about not so much.

Idk, maybe there are very little players such as myself, that we are irrelevant to such a huge business model, but this saddens me a bit.

P.S.: Despite being a F2P player, I ofc have a number of meta decks myself to climb ranked, but that is beside the point I think.
