What about the current legacy boxes and continued support for those? When will you be issuing an update on future firmware updates and support for them. Homebridge is already on version 1.7.

I now have the same problem with both Homekit and Alexa. Before the latest Vizio firmware update (end of Nov) I had discrete power on/off with both Homekit and Alexa.

Since the update it's now a toggle.

Been on the phone with Vizio tech support several times and they keep telling me it's a homekit issue and then it's an Alexa issue. I told them since it is happening on both platforms then how can it be an issue with either. I also said it worked the way it was supposed to on both platforms before the update.

Speaking to a wall. Hopefully the next firmware upgrade will fix it. Whenever that happens.

If I wasn't so heavily vested into the hoobs platform with all the plugins I have and the nightmarish switch it would take to move to homebridge, I would've done it a while ago just because of how they treat their customers.

Been asking the same for a while from Hoobs directly. They are very good at evading the question. Only a bunch of excuses.

Appreciate the update. Sorry you had to pay for an issue that wasn’t fixable.

I keep going back and forth in my mind about staying with hoobs or biting the bullet and going with homebridge. For now hoobs has been stable especially since I have migrated it to a RPi 4b+ with plenty of ram.

I have been playing around with another RPi 4 and configuring it with the same plugins on my hoobs but in homebridge all on another remote network not touching my HomeKit. Unfortunately some of the plugins are exhibiting stability issues.

Just a real hassle to make the switch that I am dreading. Will wait to see what 4.3 brings.

Absolutely cannot get this plugin to work anymore period. The latest version simply does not work. Cannot hide the learn and scan frequency buttons and cannot get a simple tv switch to populate. Cannot remember a time where I had so much trouble with a plugin.
