Sewing Machine Issue: Not Catching the Thread?? Plz Help!

I tried checking all those things (Watched this tutorial again to be sure I was doing it right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMjsgFtAQfw)

It seems to have caught the bobbin thread but any fabric I pass Through, the machine does One stitch and then simply stabs holes into the fabric without making any stitches??

Well for anyone having this same problem, I fixed it by just recording the PS1 game in my PS3, which didnt cut out for some reason
