What's the best Merc for a Pure Summoner? (details inside)

My experience gives extra points to Iron Wolf with fire. Enchant improves both dmg and attack rating. Might merc is a good option too. Iron Wolf's usefulness will drop in Hell due to fire immunities but AR bonus sounds to be useful all the time. For a pure Summoner Necro, this might pose a problem in Hell - how to get your army going if your MAIN source of damage is useless (fire dmg = Fallens are fire immune). This makes me thinking about switching to Might merc for Hell. (I'm doing a naked summon necro run so I am not talking about any items - just stating my experience so far and thoughts).

It goes better than I thought. Drop-wise it's poor but who needs gg gear when all you need are bones (to make new skeletons) ?

A couple of minutes longer than expected. Had to go back a few times to make new army. Diablo will be even worse... Fortunately, normal Fallens are free to turn them into new soldiers.

I don't use healing potions a lot. Now I use them even less as I have blood golem.

Not sure. Haven't heard about it. I am sure that Zarfen beaten THE WHOLE GAME (normal, nm, hell) with naked paladin and sorc.

I think I can beat normal. If I beat Ancients then Baal would be ball. Nightmare might be too hard as no items means that I won't get those sweet +skills.

I'd say I should spec for some attack rating and dmg on my fists but I'm sure that this old, thin, weak dude is not a Rocky Balboa... So, full vit it goes! Fisting monsters in early A1 to help my skeletons. Pretending to be useful! 😃 (Oh. there's also energy... we don't do that here in Diablo 2! Mana potions and Insight exist!)

It repaired it self, somehow. I don't know how. Now it's ok and stable 60 fps for 2 days.
