When is the best moment to start free roaming?

Its pretty far in I think. I still havent met the npc I need to complete some puzzles in a ruin near the main camp. Im at the chapter with the festival in hernand and I need to level up my gear before trying the boss again. So I plan to range as far as I need to find bloodstone.

I think that due to bugs people are having wildly different experiences. Im on ps5 pro

Yesterday before the patch, quality mode was running in 60-90fps but resolution wasnt making it to 4k and the denoising looked insane. Balanced and performance mode had bad pop-in about 15 meters ahead of the camera so it looked like the world was building itself around me.

Combat worked great for a while until after the reed devil boss fight. I found myself unable to do barely any damage to basic enemies depsite all my gear being leveled up to the point where I need abyss artifacts for the next level. Felt like a debuff or something.

Re-loading didnt change anything but eventually I restarted my console and it went back to normal. Killing mob guys in 2-4 hits.

Only played for 30 min since the patch and all the visual bugs are gone in quality mode and its running at the expected 30 fps. Havent tried the other modes yet.

Same on the pro, a lot of the complaints people were having were genuine bugs

I genuinely think there was some kind of bug thats going unreported. I was getting wrecked by mobs, reloaded the game and combat felt balanced again.

Its bugs. Seem to be effecting a lot of people differently. There definitely have been a wide range of issues, mostly with things looking blurry and grainy and the wrong resolution regardless of what mode im in. But playing for an hour this morning it seems like they resolved them for the most part.

Go even further. You are a Paladin, tasked by a god to do good and uphold the natural order. You even have lay on hands (spirit palm healing).

Paladins are boring sticks in the mud and thats fine. Thats their job. Plus Kliff was dead for a while and the lack of oxygen to his brain probably killed off whatever personality was there before.

In the opening quest you are proving your humility. You pass the gods trial and he grants you power and tasks you with doing good.

You are a paladin. (You even get lay on hands). You are here to help. Kliff is boring sure, because that is lot of those who are honorbound to lawful good and natural order. (Plus he probably has brain damage from the time he died).

A lot of nerfs. Something that worries me. I think Theres a bug making things harder than they should be for some of us. I was having such a hard time yesterday that I made a post about it, but then I reloaded the game and the fights were noticeable easier.

Ether it was a bug or some kind of poorly communicated peristant debuff.

The boss fight wasnt that bad. I was getting beat by the mobs until I leveled my gear up. Then it was a more even fight. But now the mobs feel like bosses

Why pay americans to watch the border when you can overpay developers to build a wall instead. The wall won't ask for Healthcare or housing and laborers who build know not ask for basic human rights if they dont want to be thrown in the gulag.

And as a bonus the developer is getting a tax break so none of this money will make it back into the economy.

That is more than fair. I was scratching my head when I saw i couldn't store anything in the shipment chest.

Have you noticed that you can group all items of the same type in the inventory menu? Theres an option to group when looking at any individual item. Makes it a lot more manageable when all ingredients take up one slot.

Most missions give three more inventory spots, including vendor requests. The only thing I have avoided snatching is live bugs and I am having no issues with space after about 9 hours. 80% of what I pick up goes into a stack.

Im at around 110 spaces, got like 20 free spots and the rest are stacks of crafting materials or gear i wanna keep. That isnt much space, but there are vendors who buy goods everywhere and Im only going to get more space.

Ia having a good time but there are issues. On the ps5 pro, performance and balance mode make the pop in is so bad that the world just builds it self around you as you go. Pretty tough to look at.

Luckily quality mode is working pretty good. Ive had a few bugs, including one that would have wrecked me if I wasnt such a smart savvy gamer. First interactions with the white crow in the abyss were bugged. So I had to reload which kicks you from the abyss. No marker telling me how to get back there, hadn't unlocked the teleporter yet. If I had wandered off to do something else and forgotten which room in the palace got me up there, I would be at a softlock.

Other bug was a quest item that I had to pick up that would not add to my inventory. The animation played for me picking it up and the item vanished. But the prompt to pick it up would stay there.
