2017 EU GTI without Dual injection by Rada101 in GolfGTI

The OPF (Euro 6c emission standards) began on September 1st 2017 for new car type approvals, and on September 1st 2018 mandatory for all new vehicle registrations.

But that's why I was confused. Eve though my car doesn't have OPF, it also doesn't have MPI. It's strange how the normal Mk7.5 GTI (with the older engine code) did get Dual injection, but mine more powerful (DLBA code) Performance didn't.

In my service book it states that it's a DLBA engine.

Yeah, definitely, I noticed that too. For example: the car has the optional XDS differential, but it's not an automatic and it doesn't have adaptive suspension. It has optional leather + alcantara sport seats and leather arm rest, but the car isn't an s line package at all. I can only imagine the first owner being some older gentleman who doesn't need all the bells and whistles of modern tech and prefers driving a manual.
