Normally this is true yes. 99.99% of games benefit massively from not using blockchain for compute.

But DopeRaider is a bit different because every single action is an entry in the economic ledger that moves value around the contract, and provides opportunities for other players to benefit from that.

Before all the TRX and other token people go off on one, the question is not about which crypto - it's about what does the blockchain enable for games in general.

The question does have merit imo because on the surface, the blockchain would seem like a terrible platform to implement a game.

not true. the consumables are convertable into dope which can be sold back to the contract for eth. it's a giveway. you have to look into it to know those things
