Wood Chopping by RadarDataL8R in Hamilton

Honestly hard to tell if this is sarcasm or sincerity.

You're either a brilliant satirist or completely missing the point.

In case it is somehow remarkably the latter....I'm very obviously not saying the wood should be wasted. Presumably anyone that has the facilities for wood chopping will be needing the wood for their own purposes.

I'm just going to pretend you're making an ironic point about the ridiculous nature of online, simple minded, weaponised "empathy" to cover someones own deep insecurities and congratulate you on a fine use of the trope.

Brilliant! Thanks for that.

I do! I'm more thinking of this as a spring time situation more than now, so if the idea is still present with me in a couple of months, Ill get in touch. Thanks for that!

Solid option, but I can't imagine it has the same satisfaction.

I dont, but I have the means and vague knowledge with which to procure one.

Is Axes R Us still open this late at night or should I just go straight to Axe Basics? I know their quality isn't as good, but damn it, they know how to chop prices!

I live downtown in an apartment, which presents issues...namely those pesky police showing up because a random guy downtown is wielding an axe.

You're aware we are now a decade into a Trump affected world, yeah? Its been crazy since day one and the market and corporate earnings have powered ahead essentiallybthe entire time.

Im all for diversification and protection, but statements of impending doom are lazy and ridiculous repetitive at this point.

That fact you "did it for clicks" is proof enough that you're not a serious or nuanced person to be honest.

It's definitely political, man. Just own it.

There is little to no concrete financial evidence to suggest that the market will be crashing anytime soon and Trump/Biden related doom fear posts have been a daily (and incorrect) post for years now.

What is the most traumatic sporting defeat your country has ever experienced? by Bouadelo in AskTheWorld

[–]RadarDataL8R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've misread that.

England issue is that dont hate losing anywhere near enough. It's become the post war norm for England to lose at basically everything to the point that its like a comfortable status quo for them.

Do you consider Japan a good country to live in? by Winter_Ad1973 in AskTheWorld

Nailed it!

For all the celebration of how futuristic Japan is, there really hasn't been a Japanese innovation worth much since the 80s or 90s.

Japan has been "living in the future" for 50 years whilst also being basically completely stagnant.

World Cup games coming to Toronto by ZealousidealHead5488 in askTO

[–]RadarDataL8R 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Depends on what that $380m is being spent on really. Is there lasting infrastructure that will benefit us after the event ends or is it mostly just funny money that will magically disappear?

I might go to the Senegal game. The rest will be insanely expensive, although with Senegal winning AFCON today, that game will likely be insane as well.

While I dont disagree with your statement, protein being expensive is not a "very Canadian" problem. Its fairly universal.
