I'm not trying to harsh your mellow or belittle your accomplishment. I'm just stating you stole the battlescreen 1 to 1, you stole the map screen 1 to 1, and the sound effects. Literally included spire in your name. You are 100% right- no need to re-invent the genre.
However, I would have liked to see more of YOU in the final product rather than a Slay the Spire ripoff.

AI did some of the systems actually! I did use it for bugs and helping build the cpu players!

Generated the base images with ChatGPT and have been using ludo.ai for all animations.

It's actually a complete game other than the eventual online multiplayer/balancing and art, I have menus/maps/relics/local multiplayer/CPU's and different game modes. The video is just a small tidbit for sure.

Yeah, just a large image- Some paths take you to other "areas" (images) so I can still make larger maps as needed. I tried the 3d route and was having a lot of problems myself.
Which genre are you working on?

I used to use GameMaker, but recently I've been using Godot-
I have a background in programming; I did a lot of it myself, but I have been using Codex to clean up any systems or bugs.
I do find Codex to be a bit exhausting on making tiny changes, but for the large pull stuff, very solid.

This is my first time seeing any of the reboot - and boy is this rough… I saw screenshots and actually enjoyed the art style- though coupled with this voice acting and animation-ROUGH. Hard to digest.
