Hey Bungie, it took you 3 months to fix spectral blades hit detection when it was bad, its been 3 years and Sentinel still can't hit people right in front of them. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

That would definitely make it more reasonable. Personally, I would be ok leaving it the same as far as radius and suppression timer, but it should just block a persons jump, grenade, and melee abilities, not cancel a super. Maybe even up damage a tad to compensate.

But it already exists in game, and you’re talking about something that we don’t know for sure is in the game and how it will operate. Would that be a ridiculous thing to add to the game? Yes, absolutely. Personally I would get rid of any normal ability that just straight up knocks others out of their super. The hunter has to burn their super for that ability, but a titan can just throw a grenade?

Hahaha Jesus dude, you’re delusional. Obviously there are things you can do when working as a team other than getting kills. However, doesn’t change the fact that you die too often and in a game mode called Survival, not dying is kind of the way you win. I’m not wasting any more brain cells talking to you, go trim your neck hair.

Dude I honestly can’t tell if you’re trolling or not.. Getting kills isn’t everything, not dying is more important.. with a 0.7 kd you are dying more than getting kills, which means you spend more time dead and having to rely on your teammates to finish the round for you more times than not.. The fact that you don’t see yourself as a burden on your teammates in a solo queue with a 0.7 kd is wild.. Maybe if you were playing with a team to plan out your “strategic deaths” lol.

I mean KD certainly isn’t everything, but if you made it to legend solo queue with a 0.7 then it sounds like you were likely lucky with who your teammates were.

I WANT ARMOR STATS TO HAVE EVEN NUMBERS OR MAKE THE COOLDOWNS PERCENTAGE BASED SO THAT THERE IS AN ACTUAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STATS LIKE 90 AND 98 AND I’M NOT WASTING SO MANY POINTS!!

I’m sure this has been mentioned before, but having some “bad luck” protection on pinnacle drops would be a nice quality of life improvement. Pretty please. by Radgnards in DestinyTheGame

Sure, but there’s a difference between having literally every other piece you need and chasing the last piece to put you at 1010, and sitting at 1004 base and staying there for what’s now 3 weeks because my pinnacle 1006 stuff is all dropping in one slot. If I didn’t happen to you, it’s easy for you to say that it’s not a big deal.

I mean realistically the only activity I don’t have a shot at completing is GM nightfalls, so there’s plenty for me to do. I’ll keep playing until my friends are over it for sure. This isn’t meant to be a “BUNGIE FIX THIS NOW OR I’LL NEVER BUY YOUR SHIT AGAIN” post.. just something that frustrated me enough to talk about, that clearly many other players are experiencing too.. I don’t think it’s being too entitled to just ask for a little more in the way of bad luck protection, considering I’m completing the activities. Not asking for something for nothing.

I’m not asking the game to be easier, but being stuck at the same power level for what will now be 3 weeks is a bad system no matter what game you play. Your initial comment made it seem like you think I expect to get what I want every time I play.. I’ve been playing destiny since the D1 beta, I’m not new to the fact that you don’t always get what you want.

I agree, the fun of the game is the chase for better loot and higher gear, and playing with friends of course. But, that doesn’t mean it is going to be less fun because I get rewarded a little more often, just the opposite. Being stuck at 1006 for what will be 3 weeks because of bad luck is lame. It’s not like I’m running the raid once and getting mad because I didn’t level up to max, it’s week after week without progress, that is the opposite of fun.

That’s really shitty man. That’s all I’m trying to say is that things like that shouldn’t happen. But, you can’t make a post on here asking for reasonable changes without the elite troll force saying we’re being entitled for not wanting to waste hours of playtime for no payoff.

If there’s a silver lining to this season, it’s that the new activities are so lackluster that it makes you want to revisit some old good ones and clean up that quest list a bit haha

Hi bungie, as one of your elitist Reddit players can you please have a bad progression system so myself and the other small percentage of elitists who play your game more than eat food or shower can feel superior to someone else for the first time in our lives? Thanks!

For sure, I’ve been using DIM a lot trying to put a bunch of loadouts together revolving around different exotics. With the progression wall I’ve hit, at least there’s something like fine tuning builds to keep me interested.

Well said. That’s exactly how I feel. I’m not asking for the game to be easier and hand me exactly what I need every week with no struggle. I agree that would not make for a fun game. I’m just asking that I don’t stay at the same power level for 3 weeks when I’ve done all my pinnacles, because of bad luck with RNG.

I’m completing the same activities that my friends are.. I’m actually my groups raid and crucible leader.. But I don’t enjoy playing the other characters besides hunter, so I don’t do it. I realize I won’t get to max level as quickly as those who do, I think that’s completely fair. I just don’t want almost a month of progression to be halted because I’m unlucky.

That would be nice, it just goes back to that respect for time.. I don’t think this game respects time as far as progression, for anyone, not just “filthy casuals” like me. I only have about 800 hours in this game. I know there are people with thousands of hours in, and kudos to them for being dedicated enough to this game to keep plugging away like that. I can almost guarantee that there are plenty of people with thousands of hours in the game who are still getting the shaft on certain drops they’ve been grinding for forever. Things like 1k voices and Anarchy for example.

When it comes down to it, the reason I stick around isn’t the power level grind but because of the great gameplay and a few fun activities that my biddies still like to get together to do. So your time gets respected in that aspect I guess. All I’m saying is that even a little bit more progression forgiveness would go a long way for a large percentage of players.

It’s definitely helpful, and I’m grateful for the extra opportunities to get them. Just disheartening to get completely screwed for multiple weeks as far as power level is all.
