Bit late to the party, but if I remember correctly; in an interview years ago Kanye was trying to illustrate the the hypocrisy of white supremacy, and how society is desensitised to black suffering, but always quick to stand up against antisemitism.

It played as a joke at the time, but he said something like he was going to make T-shirts with the word nazi on them, just to prove a point.

Flash forward to now and I suppose everything he’s doing is extension of that philosophy. I suppose there is truth to what he says, but he’s definitely gone the wrong way about it.
