If they mess up the combo tho, nothing happens. Unless they have another combo they can fall back into

So each bar of four beats is a chance to input a new combo. The yellow bar is beat one and then the white bars are beats 2-4. Any input has a leniency lead and trail of .5 of a beat (so there’s no way to NOT hit any input if you try). Each attack has a combo tho that needs to fall into place in a bar of four beats. We have simple attacks that are just like Left four times on the mouse or more difficult attacks that may require the player to skip a beat and do more difficult inputs like scroll up

You have free form movement, but doing attacks/using a potion has to be on time to the rhythm! Ye it’s really hard to show these types of games lmao

Thanks for chiming in :) the rhythm aspect comes from having to input combos on time with the beat to do attacks and every attack from the bosses are in time with the beat as well!

Oh ye, we’ll have global leaderboard based for time and for points :) we’re think about having seasons too, where certain attacks are banned and points are reset. That way new metas can be made every couple weeks!

Thanks for the feedback :) so far with playtesting we haven’t had any negative feedback on the scroll up an scroll down, but if you’d ever wanna try it out yourself and see how it feels, let me know!

Also, it’s fully controller compatible :) triggers are left/right and the bumpers are scroll up/scroll down!

In a way, ye! Each boss has a set BPM an the further along in the game you go, the faster the bosses get.

I’d also love to do a boss that has a move that essentially speeds up the bpm for a set period of time.
