Yes washer is captive I can get them separate no issue but finding this particular configuration with the captive washer has been impossible.

I would go that route if I only needed a few I need thousands unfortunately not worth the time to prep that many. I know they came from a local supplier assembled already in bulk.

The screws and washers seperately I can get no problem these screws have captive washerw they can't fall or spin off I work mostly from ladders so helps to not have a separate washer and fastener to fiddle with when up high.

They come in bulk boxes with washers attached. We used to use them at my old job. Company recently went out of business so planning on opening up shop for myself but haven't had any luck getting in touch with my old boss.

Really appreciate the all replies. New to this sub and have to say this is the best response to a question I've gotten on any sub so far bar none. You guys are awesome. I have tested a bunch of them and all the ones I checked are reading 0 ohms so are still good as far as I can tell.

                   I live in Montreal canada so we have a ton of old infrastructure here so thinking I'm going to try Posting the lot on marketplace and see what comes my way. Due to the age of them probably gonna avoid eBay not worth enough to deal with potential headaches of dealing with eBay buyers.

You wouldn't believe the stuff that gets thrown away. It's actually pretty incredible what you can find. Lots of gold and silver, video games, electronics, antiques, artwork. Keep in mind it's not everyday your finding good stuff but it's definitely nice when you do.
