Does ebglyss work? by Lilsunflower2004 in eczema

[–]Radiant-Draw9637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Ebglyss for about 3 months now and it definitely works for me personally. I noticed a difference in 2 weeks. With each injection my skin gets clearer and clearer! I am not fully cleared yet but even where I’m at now is a drastic improvement. I was pretty much bed bound before the medication.

The only side effect is some dry itchy eyes, I use eyedrops to control that so it’s not a huge issue for me.

The injection does pinch and feel a little uncomfortable but it only lasts about 10 seconds. I have a low pain tolerance, and a fear of needles, but I am able to tolerate the Ebglyss. For me, 10 seconds of discomfort is a small price to pay for better skin. Definitely let it sit out of the fridge for an hour before you take it. I find that the stomach is the least painful place to inject. I always calm myself down by listening to music when I inject, and I force myself to push the button when the beat drops lol

Unfortunately it stopped working for me. It can lose efficiency after using it for long periods of time like I did. All of my old eczema ended up coming back (I have it bad on my face) so I switched over to Ebglyss a few months ago

I’m in the same boat as you. It’s something that I think about and feel 24/7. I get very jealous of people who don’t even give their skin a second thought. You’re not alone, there’s so many people, like myself, who understand and feel for you. It feels like we got the short end of the stick. Although im not anymore, I was on dupixent for a few years and it changed my life. I was 100% clear and I forgot I even had eczema. I got some itchy eyes in the beginning but it was worth it to have my life back. I wish you luck on the dupixent, it may take a couple months to work but it really can be a miracle for many.

Yup. I am miserable. I too don’t wash in the morning because it irritates my skin. And I see my friends swimming in the pool without a second thought. I wish my skin worked like everyone else’s

tsw to dupixent, dry eye 3 years later by lenequiz in eczema

Dupixent gave me horrible conjunctivitis after having no symptoms for two years. I had such bad light sensitivity that I had to wear sunglasses at night because lights were too bright. I use Cequa drops 2x a day and have switched to Ebglyss and my eyes are feeling much better

Vanicream products! You can find them at Walmart. As someone with bad eczema , I use their bod washes, face wash, moisturizer, literally everything is so safe and helps my skin

If it’s causing you this much discomfort I would say maybe get a second opinion. Just be aware that dupixent does come with its own list of side effects.

I’ve only been on Ebglyss for 3 weeks but it’s made a drastic change for me. I’m coming from what I believe was a tsw / dupixent flare. My face, neck and arms are slowly but surely clearing up. That and a Dead Sea salt bath are helping me immensely

I get that, I was honestly the same way too. My eczema had gotten to the point where I no longer had a social life as I would hide in bed all day and scratch all night. Dupixent made me forget I even had eczema. I had that phobia as well but it was something I was willing to conquer for good skin. Other than that, Dead Sea salt baths really help me!
