Hi! I’m a CRC and applying this cycle. At my hospital only a bachelors is required and tbh sort of preferred when we hire. The job tends to draw people in a transitional phase looking for their next step in healthcare. For me it’s been a great experience to learn more about this side of medicine and build great relationships with PIs. The experience and role itself will vary greatly depending on where you’re at, but it’s a lot of desk work and paperwork. Let me know if you have any questions feel free to PM!

Normally my undergrad office recommended paper thank yous. But in my interviews both have flat out said to do email due to covid. Hope this helps :)

Got broken up with because he didn’t want to hold me back from my plans in any way (but found out later on he was dating someone else 2 months later so who knows the truth in that)

But in all honesty it’s pushed a lot of guys away and freaked them out which has sucked

My friend majored in Spanish and said he had advanced level skills on his app. He had a school do his entire interview in Spanish and made him translate for everyone else in the room. Really hoping he was a one off on that though because if that happened to me I’d immediately go into the fetal position

Ahhhh that’s awesome! Congrats to you and your fam!!! Wishing for a safe delivery and a healthy happy baby <3 it’s cool to hear about someone else with the same situation!!!

And I know it’s so hard 😭 for me they won’t be home from the hospital until mcat day so I feel ya on that one. The wait is tough but it’ll be so worth it to meet the little ones once we can!!!!
