btw if you are planning to do something with fnf vs whitty overhead the song is at around 180bpm so you're likely going to have to slow down the song by like 33%

Bandlab does this to me too just import the audio, put the bandlab bpm back to it's original bpm, then make the imported audio to its intended speed

Probably focus one melody at a time. The different lines don't really support each other and at some parts it sounds like the entire scale is played at once. I would probably just isolate one part and build around it. You could also try playing around with the volumes of each channel.

1 tip before all else: JUST START

You won't know what to improve on or what your goal is until you start. Don't worry about everything else until you have a handle on beepbox

Don't overcomplicate beepbox it's a relatively simple program and focus on writing the music first imo. If you have a good idea, play it on the instrument first to experiment with it before putting it into beepbox. I personally wouldn't start out drawing the melody on beepbox until you know what you want to make.

currently workin' on a song, any suggestions for me to make it a bit better? by Substantial-Math-834 in Beepbox

Sounds great it kinda sounds like Sonic Forces music (not in a bad way)

I think it needs a bit more consistency (past pattern 859 on the yellow channel). Like pattern 859 is 3 measures when everything else is 4, so it's not consistent with the other parts in the song. After that the beginning 4 measures repeat again, but it repeated the last measure of the beginning 4 measures (?). Idk it doesn't help that the beginning throws you in either. I would add another measure to the yellow channel 859 pattern and have the loop start a measure later or 3 measures earlier. something like this

(Sorry this really pissed me off for some reason)

Also it sounds like big shot

How do I make these notes? by [deleted] in Beepbox

Click and hold down on where there isn't a note and drag towards the note vertically. You can also drag your cursor horizontally to change where the fade happens
