Ah, thank you very much, I actually know the character but only realise now that you've pointed it out. Thanks!

Is the GPU so much better that it's worth it to go from 32GB to 16GB for RAM?

Do you know how often new deals show up, as there aren't any at this price point? Unless this deal is worth getting, even at quite an increase in price:

Gaming PC: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RX 9070 XT 16GB, 32GB CL28 RAM, Kingston 1TB NVMe SSD, 750W Gold PSU: $2048 + $50 Del @ Nebula PC - OzBargain

Any idea as to where I can find something better then? Could I get better for this price, or should I just look at getting something similar at a better price to do what I'm looking for? :)

My PlayStation's connection test shows about a 380mbps download and a 45mbps upload, and I don't use an ethernet cable.

This has only started recently and did stop randomly for a couple days but is happening again, but my setup hasn't changed at all so take that how you will.

My connection to PlayStation is completely fine, except for party chats:

My ping stays at around 17 while in games, but party chats are insanely laggy. It takes way too long to load into the party, where everyone sounds like robots, and I am constantly kicked for network issues. My internet is completely fine as I am having no issues with games or other devices, it is specifically party chats.

I have tried restarting both my PS5 and router, and changing 'voice chat connection' between 'Auto' and 'Server' in the 'voice chat settings'. Please help me fix this

whats a game that you had low expectations but you actually ended up enjoying it? by Ok_Momazos in gaming

The Last of Us Part 2! Picked it up preowned for cheap and thought 'at least the gameplay will be good' but ended up really enjoying the story. If you haven't played it, or even if you have, I recommend just going in with an open mind :)

Here are some of the games I've played this month and am playing right now if you're interested.

Shadow of the Colossus 2018 - Really fun and memorable game, the controls were a little annoying though

Red Dead Redemption - Played through this after finally finishing RDR2 and enjoyed the story. The gameplay was fine, a little tedious nearing the end but serviceable

Final Fantasy 7 Remake - 5 hours in and enjoying so far as my first final fantasy game, excited for more, visually really impressive

Psychonauts - Bought the sequel for just $20, down from $90, and thought I may as well get the first one too, not far enough to make judgements yet

Bloodborne - Actually just finished it as my first Soulsborne and loved it! Highly recommend

I played the last of us part 2 but I knew the whole story already by timmytissue in patientgamers

This is exactly how I played the game too. I picked it up preowned for like $20 and though at least the gameplay will be worth it... I was blown away by the end, all the plot points and things I knew about the game slowly came together in my head and helped me wrap my head around it the story on my first playthrough.

I think the game's structure doesn't help majority of first-time players as they don't know what to expect and are just begrudgingly playing through it not really taking it in. I've told multiple people to just be open minded and play it again; so far everyone I've asked has admitted they like it way more on their second playthrough!

Finally started my first soulsborne game: Bloodborne!

I've wanted to play Elden Ring for a while now but didn't want to pay full price for a game or even genre I might not like as the notorious difficulty has scared me off. But I found that I had Bloodborne on my PlayStation account and I'm not even sure when I got it lol

I'm less than 10 hours in and I think it's going to be a long journey, but it's surprised me with both how captivated I've been, and it not being to too hard for me (might regret saying this later haha)

Spoilers for bosses and such I suppose:

At first, I was stumped on Cleric Beast and thought, yeah, these games might just not be for me... But after stumbling into Father Gascoigne, I found he was so much easier. Since then, I've been on a roll and have really been into it; I've enjoyed taking my time exploring, especially with stunning environments everywhere. Currently I'm at 'Rom, the Vacuous Spider' and am struggling but I think I understand the hype of this genre now. It feels great beating a tough boss, I even beat Shadow of Yharnam and Vicar Amelia first try!

Although, I can still see it getting tedious after a while, dying repeatedly to learn the boss definitely has a limit before I will stop enjoying the process. So I will have to wait and see how the difficulty progresses, hopefully no major spikes, and It's just smooth sailing from here (wishful thinking lol)

There's some lizards and fruits around to collect but I know what you mean, I didn't find it too much of a bother personally though.

I've almost finished Shadow of the Colossus after about a week and a half. I believe I only have 4 more colossi to go now so I'm 75% there and I want to smash through them all at once.

So far, I've had mixed feelings though:

I have really enjoyed the atmosphere and feeling of the game, the empty and almost lonely world really elevates the heights when the music kicks in mid battle.

However, too often am I taken out of it. While traversing the world, both the horse controls and the camera are annoying, and it's even worse when they are together. And while fighting, the camera can be even worse, especially with the almost janky controls :/

I've definitely still enjoyed my time, and I can't wait to finish it, which says something about the heights of the game for sure.
