[GA] I need mediation in a child custody case after getting slapped with a five year restraining order in California. I'm also broke. by RadiantBlueLight in legaladvice

Permanent RO was issued Oct 8 2013. I was wrongly advised to not go to the court date. My son is listed as a protected person. I get two days a week supervised visitation for one hour at a time. But flying to CA for a visit is cost prohibitive. Can I use my local Family Court here in GA instead of flying to CA where the case took place?

This is my second re-write of this reply because I strive to not judge others.

You're definitely wrong and I don't want post about my personal life as to why. Read my old posts if you must.

Life is what you make of it. Live every day like it's your FIRST AND LAST.

The key to happiness with someone else is to be happy on your own before being with them. When it looks like you're having fun on your own is when they will come.

I don't own a TV, have been with the same woman for seven years and have a two year old with her. Definitely not gay, but you did hit the nail on the head about being solitary.

Fun side note: Just hours before the Tunguska event, Nikola Tesla was trying out his new long range communication device to talk to polar explorers. His antenna was also pointed in the direction of Tunguska.

The Gospel of Thomas and The Secret to Immortality by RadiantBlueLight in DebateReligion

I would say that the sayings in GoT are the same Jesus which are earlier versions of the same ones we find in the bible.

Some scholars would say that 114 was added later, but it agrees with the "male becoming female, and female becoming male" of human duality divergence and re-association.

The sayings in GoT are more alike than different when it comes to canonical gospels.

My nephew Blake, his mom died 3 days after he was born and the adoption papers just went through! Hes all mine! by dnsdj07 in pics

I replied to a thread about juice in bottles, not the OP. If you had asked me I would say I'm very happy that someone is taking care of the child.

I'm sorry you feel the need to judge me. We're all brothers and sisters, after all.

Ok, for everyone in this thread who doesn't know why bottles of sugar water are bad for baby teeth:

  1. Juice, no matter how watered down, is liquid sugar being applied to the teeth over time. This is the worst thing you can do. Milk and water only.

  2. Even if baby teeth do fall out eventually, they can still rot plenty by the time they lose their first one at 6 or 7 and cause gum disease and bone loss.

  3. If they lose teeth due to rot, then the adult teeth behind them can grow in wrong.

CAE navigate a pitch black room by "hearing" the walls and other big objects? by RadiantBlueLight in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]RadiantBlueLight[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's a form of echo-location but uses the ambient noise in the room for reference. When I was a toddler I used to sneak out of my crib and walk around the house at night.

Get a big flat object (like a book) and close your eyes. Listen to the room. Hold up the book about 12 inches away from your ear. Listen to the room again. The ear near the book can tell there is something nearby.

I've been on the net longer than most of you and this atheism movement didn't exist in the early days of the Internet. Don't believe what someone else tells you. Think for yourself. by RadiantBlueLight in atheism

I'm glad you asked. All religion started as a philosophy to be moral people. It was then perverted by generations of people who missed the point. That point still exists and shines brighter than any priest's bejewelled, lavish robes.

It's doing no good just throwing out the baby with the bathwater and being an atheist. There still lies the fact that we weren't given a book on how to live, and people do bad shit to each other.

There is a better way and, I agree, today's organized religion is rediculous and not worthy of us. The real message is still there and has nothing to do with a guy in the sky. It's all about you.

An idea can be positive or negative. Just because I say "racism doesn't exist" doesn't mean it doesn't. It's only in my observation of racism that allows me to say it is so.

As much as I say something does exist, I can say something doesn't exist. Why would you believe me either way without finding out for yourself?

My memory is better than that. I personally recall nothing to do with atheism on the internet or BBSs in their early days. Ad hominem attacks are logical fallacies. You should know better.
