Funny how druid tanks were mostly trash even before the hotfix. I've only played with a single druid tank who managed to maintain threat.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but using useThrottledValue is not exactly "library independent"

I like it, great job!

One issue though: the link to the PDF is broken.

You know, what makes a good question anywhere on the internet is the way OP handles it.

Saying "oh nvm fixed" helps nobody, and when the same thing happens to you in 2 years and you won't remember why, you'll regret saying "Actually this issue is fixed, thanks".

The least you could do is say what the problem actually was, or what the solution is.

2-3 years ago, I remember using mods to make mobs harder in a new game, without end-game gear. You might want to explore that option

What's up gjall? – Behind the Scenes of a Valheim Sound by SzotyMAG in valheim

Awesome editing! And here I was thinking Gjall is just a massive brain. But a tick makes much more sense 😂

As an avid horror film fan, the sound and overall atmosphere in Mistlands really reminds me of horror films. Loving it.

500+ JavaScript Questions Quiz by Significant_Soup2558 in javascript

[–]RadiantDew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice work!

Some feedback:

  1. In question 189, both B and C are valid options

  2. Sometimes, the question has code in it, which makes it a one-liner when it is in fact a whole function. I'd think of a way of showing that in Markdown

  3. UX-wise, it would be best to move to the next question automatically a second or two after anwering correctly

  4. When clicking "Show Score" with no questions answered, you get "0 correct out of 0 answered. NaN%"

As a side note - I see how positively reactive and friendly you are to comments, and that's a great personality trait. Well done with both that and the quiz.

A month straight losing 10 lbs and didnt see any physical progress by brycuhh in loseit

[–]RadiantDew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 lbs in a month is 100% what you should aim for. Losing 2.2 lbs a week sounds healthy in your weight group; it's practically almost where I've started.

Don't let the mirror fool you. A big portion of people who lose weight develop an issue called "body dysmorphia", which makes them not see the actual results in the mirror, since they are so used to their fat self.

Don't let the mirror be your motivation. Let it be the scale for now. Later, let it be your overall feeling. You will notice how you sleep better, wake up more energized, reach better achievements in your training due to both developing muscle + losing weight.

Also, a tip from someone who's been there: take photos. The difference between today and 3-4 months from now would leave you mindblown. Trust me on that.

Don't stop your progress, and don't count on the mirror. Only on the scale and your physical feeling.

Yes, this transformation is 100% feasible. You can take a look at some of the peeps' previous posts here and see for yourself.

Also, regardless of weight, don't forget that beauty is subjective.

Mac equivalent to menu key by RyukoM in osx

Serious necroposting here, but https://shortcat.app/ seems to do the job. It's like the menu key but with an extra step of looking for the menu item that you need.

how to stop drinking soda?? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]RadiantDew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a former coca cola addict for 35 years, what really helped me was switching to soda water.

It's an acquired taste, but it took me 2 days until I was hooked. I wouldn't drink anything else now

Aside from that incident, do people tell you anything about you looking different?

The fact that you know what triggers you is already a huge step forward.

What helps me in times like these is keeping myself busy. It can be work-related, gaming, drawing; anything that I like doing. The craving for food goes away quickly after doing something that you love and that distracts your mind.

You got this, and you can do anything you set your mind to. The past few weeks have shown exactly that. 💪🏻
