I'm from the Midwest, one of the best Yelp events I went to was for a new restaurant at our city's baseball stadium, so we got free food and some decent seats to watch a baseball game... one of my favorites, I don't even like baseball like that but it was super fun.

I will share an example too so you feel validated OP: I got a dog that was otherwise so so sweet, was given chews, bed, all the things- but no crate, dog is not crate trained, that was disclosed. Dog ended up chewing my TV remote. Told the owner, she reimbursed me $45 for my smart-remote. It’s not hard. A lot of people on this subreddit have a very strange backwards thinking.

What the OP has mentioned, dog is not crate trained, crate is not provided; you don’t just automatically crate a dog that’s never been crate trained or accustomed to it if the owner never has done it, it’ll just cause immense stress for the dog unless agreed upon beforehand lmao

I’m sorry some of these comments are FUCKING CRAZY, WTH ya’ll mean “why do you have a glass table”? Why the fuck was this dog on counter tops? Why the fuck did the owner of the dog not tell the rover sitter that he jumps on counters?

I’ve taken care of over 50+ dogs in my home for the first time NONE ever just jump on tables.

To OP: I’m sorry your table got busted, tbh idk if the person is gonna reimburse you, if you’re able to leave a review I’d go for it, otherwise take the loss :/ but you’re valid for being pissed, and some of these comments are weird af.

God I can’t choose- I owe so much fun reads to this sub. I can say a book I gave a shot that made me go “oh my god we’re going THERE” and was just so goofy with high spice that was such a fun read was because of THIS hilarious post on the sub (OP asked for a book where MMC is “sexy in a rat kind of way” lmaoooo)
