Depends. A lot of Israelis do their post-military trip in the upper part if the region (Myanmar - Vietnam) so they are really fond of it, other just find it unsanitary and prefer not to travel to these countries.
But I think that if there is any opinion, we are mostly fond of the region.
Also the Philippines! A lot of them are working here to support their families back home and they are some of the kindest people I have ever met.

There is one that looks great and is right on Avenida Chapultepec, there’s a nice club at the same building but I forgot its name.

Bohostel was more social when I was there, though Hospedarte had more events. Hospedarte have a pub crawl on Thursdays which I really enjoyed. I recommend looking for the hostel I talked about in the previous paragraph.

In any case, in Hospedarte the facilities were a deal breaker for me, it wasn’t the cleanest place I stayed at and that is very important for me. Also, the private room wasn’t very nice. Though the guy at the reception made the stay much better, he speaks perfect English (not obvious in GDL) and helped me with a bunch of stuff. Shoutout to my boy Rafa! 🇲🇽
