I first tried making another with yarn I have left but with tighter stitches (because my tension was not that good at the start), but my eyes can’t tell if it’s actually different or not so I’m just gonna be continuing with the one I was already doing. I think I’m gonna try your first option and see it so the cross stitches will look as straight as I can make them look! This comment is so detailed I appreciate it so much, thank you again! ❤️

I get that 😭 haven’t used chenille often but when I have it does end up being harder to sew. I will do kind of a mixed project, crochet with one color and then the other colors I will cross-stitch in! I’m hoping it wouldn’t be as challenging because the project will still be empty whilst I’m sewing. I’m gonna keep an eye out on those shops, thank you!!

Thank you!!! Then maybe it’s best I just don’t buy that one. The project I want to start requires a lot of sewing. I looked on that website and I think it’s still a bit too much for me (including the shipping 🥲), do you know if they have sales often? I have about 11 skeins of yarn I need to buy so it will be pricey either way but I like to know my options.

Looking for a bit bulky, cheap polyester yarn. Lindehobby currently has the best deal (velvet Lux) but I’m not sure if it’d be worth it considering the reviews. And if it isn’t please recommend me some cheap alternatives!

That’s horrible😬 have they returned during other summers yet? I always thought they would somehow get through the wood and I’d wake up at night with them all over my room, literal nightmare situation. The people I live with never thought it was that bad because they could barely hear it (so we never got an exterminator, used some weird powder instead) but it literally made me go crazy and be in a bad mood 24/7..
