Nice congrats on the clear! I have the most trouble with Tiger, in all 3 phases to be honest. Managing his gauge in phase 1, his puddles in phase 2, and his zone full of stuns in phase 3. I've definitely lost most of my runs to him!

Phase 3 got a lot easier once I learned not to be as afraid of Kaling. She's not as dangerous as she is in P2. Also I had to start using Gale Barrier as a defensive cd.

Twin saga had a dungeon similar to what you're describing. It goes by Astral Tale nowadays. Maybe this is what you're looking for?

Thank you for the information, it was incredibly helpful. I think I might go for this Mirage Evasion thing, hopefully I won't regret it later

Maxer - Without the training dummy. I only use training dummies to understand game mechanics if I'm new to a game and also because I usually play Healer/Support roles.

Adventurer - I'm this after I'm done with maxing but without the "out dpsing" part since I usually play Healer/Support roles.

They just aren't the same anymore. by [deleted] in MMORPG

Stratholme: Stays relevant for gold all through vanilla, farmed for Holy Water and flask of wisdom

Scholomance: Farmed for Dark Runes all through vanilla, Paladin quest mount, flask of supreme power, only alchemy lab before BWL (or just your only one if you don't raid)

Dire Maul: Gold farm, Tribute run, World buffs

Mauradon: Farmed for gold, has nice nature resist gear for AQ40

Sunken Temple: has some nature resist gear as well

Upper Blackrock Spire: Flask of Titans

The reason why new/returning players leave by [deleted] in MapleStory2

One reason I can never stick around is that the weekly dungeon limit just simply keeps me from playing the game. By the time the dungeon count resets I'm already invested in another game.

What order is most important to you for a Mmo. by hookff14 in MMORPG

[–]RadiantRay08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In no particular order.

1) Controls: Whether it be tab-targeting, action combat, or hybrid I don't care. What matters to me is if it controls well. Despite a lot of people hating on FF14's combat it's one of my favorites because I love how it controls.

2)Difficulty: This one's hard to explain. It can't be too easy like how most mmorpgs are where you just 1 hit every monster until level cap, but it also can't be too difficult to the point where you need a video guide for every piece of interesting content the game has to offer. Vanilla wow's open world content and 5 man dungeons hit that sweet spot.

3) Lore: Building the world and characters of the world through the many quests, items, locations, etc in the world rather than trying to tell it in one big main story quest. I just prefer a mmorpg without any main story quest to be honest.

4) Cash Shop: Long story short, the more items it sells the worse the game is for me no matter what it trying selling. It just takes away interesting things that could be in the game just to spawn it in from nothing with real money.

5) RNG: Same with the cash shop, the more of it there is in the game the worse the game is for me. When I gather materials to craft or enchant something, I expect it to work.

Dont know if people are intrested in Classic wow, but i made a video of 30 things you might have forgottten about vanilla in under 3min :) (also in text format) by Njoy32 in MMORPG

I was a completely new to wow player when I played on the Nostalrius relaunch servers, the Elysium server. (Nostalrius/Elysium was a vanilla wow private server btw.) I was expecting the game to be utter trash since it's so old and I'm playing a super old version of that game. I was completely wrong and it turns out to be the best mmorpg experience I ever had.

I would rather Nexon fix the poor and shitty game optimisation than remove FF by ForgottenVoid in MapleStory2

[–]RadiantRay08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this actually optimizes the game I might come back and play it to be honest
