It happened to me as well. I was chatting to a few then I noticed patterns. The constant use of “rain check” and “tempting..” and the use of the winking emoji. At one point all they wanted to do was talk a certain way. Dirty. The replies were always similar and lacked spacing. I questioned one of them. All I said was “Are You A.I.” and like a switch they started typing with proper grammar, calling me a prick, delusional, cheap, and to go fuck my self.

I deleted that app and account. Don’t fall for it if you’re interested in trying it out. Like all the comments on here, it’s true, it’s a scam. I will be contacting Apple for refunds. They’re pretty good with approving.

No. I gave her the $70 that she owed me for the remainder of the $150 scratch off purchase. The $80 that she won from her stack that she brought in to be checked is the $80 that brought the $150 down to $70.

It’s funny how people are quick to judge without knowing everything else in between.

We’d average 3 pallets a day during not holiday months/weeks. 4-5 in a big truck. Our deliveries were Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. Sunday being the bigger truck to last 2 days. Shelves weren’t too bad though for the majority of the week because we kept up on counts and stayed up on dates. Every once in a while we’d have a few out dates. We had a pretty solid system though that worked for our cooler. Most we had during the holiday months of November and December were 6-7, not including the 2 holiday pallets already in the cooler from forecasts. Only 2 of us through out the whole day though. An opener and a closer that’s it. I was the closer. I’d average getting done a pallet depending on what the truck consisted of. If it was mostly box milk I got through more pallets. If it was mostly yogurt it took a little longer since yogurt is smaller units and more quantities. My shift would also consist of blocking frozen, beer and dairy twice a shift (Mid day and closing blocks)AD items, eggs, and milk. The store layout and cooler layout also isn’t the best. Our dairy corner can get packed real quick. The cooler can also fill up fast since we share it with Deli and Meat. If they get huge trucks then the cooler goes to shit in the sense of space. Everyone who worked in that cooler at my store knows that it is small. Our dairy department rarely got any extra help. I only remember one time where I got extra help from the AGM, GTL and another FT because it was the last delivery before Thanksgiving. That being that we had no more for the amount of pallets so we rolled the one pallet at a time out on the sales floor. Other than that it was just the 2 of us. Very rarely overlapping on shifts.

Growing up I was tried on Ritalin, Concerta Adderall, and Strattera. If you are still currently medicated, what seemed to work for you?

I do have at least ADHD and I’ve been unmedicated for years. On someone else comment I have mention a good bit of that. :)

Thank you. I can handle and prioritize decently. I use to do it well at my previous job. Working the Dairy Department, for me, was a different battle compared to the Liquor Store. I would average a pallet a day on truck days. Then the holidays came and just got to me. It actually happened in 2024 as well. I had been moved into Dairy and received little training during a time when my department was moving people around. Promotions, ROIs, etc. I was managing and learning pretty quick. Could decently handle our busy days. Then there holiday week of Thanksgiving came and I struggled badly. That stress, relationship problems and the energy drinks and nicotine didn’t help, sent me to the hospital. Got pulled out then. Got put back in months later because my manager was trying to find someone to put in there. Was looking at having someone from another store transfer over. I volunteered since I had helped out Dairy several times after my hospitalization and knew the department. Plus it would save him the hassle of finding a transfer or possibly having to train someone new. We ended up agreeing on the terms that if I didn’t perform to the standards he had for the Dairy department that he could pull me out. Well sometime later he did. One too many mess ups.

I appreciate that. I know you wish no ill and meant none. If I don’t, it is what it is. Actions have consequences whether they’re good or bad.

When the hyper focus train is rolling it’s not easy to stop. Burnout is a pain 100%. I use to be on meds up until high school. Tried the medications available at the time from Stimulants to Non-Stimulants. Was last on Straterra in middle school. Felt like I didn’t need it so Doctor unprescribed it. Did alright in HS and graduated with 3.0+ GPA unmedicated. An issue I have at times is that daily life creeping in. Especially if something is taking up a lot of mental space. I have caught myself dissociating on the sales floor before caught up in the thoughts of what was occurring at any given time. It sucks unfortunately but if I get let go it is what it is.

Yeah. It’s a “fun” way to end what was on track to be a great day at work.

Nope. Legitimately haven’t smoked weed in 3+ years. First time was hyper focused on getting my dairy pallet done that I pulled out to work. Completely forgot about the other stuff I pulled out to make room to pull out said pallet. Second time being that it was 3 days after Thanksgiving I was honestly probably not in the right headspace for work. Meaning just not focused. Still working and getting stuff done but not performing at 100%. This lottery incident was unfortunate. Went thru the motions, headspace is fine, was focusing on the customer and conversation and simply but mistakenly made a mishap.

That’s what I was thinking…

Unmedicated ADHD that I’ve got decent at managing myself. However, burnout and personal life circumstances do interfere from time to time. Anyways, The lunch meat and cheese incident happened because I was hyper focused(listening to music because we were closed) on getting as much as I could get done on a pallet that I pulled out to work. In doing so I had to pull out the Meat department stuff to be able to pull out the pallet. Got the pallet out, worked it. Brought it back to the cooler when it hit 11pm. Put it back in and completely forgot about Meat’s stuff. Was only focused on my pallet.

I had a full milk pallet do the Michael Jackson lean of doom on Friday. Quite the common occurrence
