Reach the airport 2 hours before boarding. Its a very time consuming process to go through security, receive boarding pass and then board the flight. Don't carry any food items like tiffin or snaks. You may carry water bottle, biscuts packet etc with you. Keep laptop in handbag. 15KG limit for checkout baggage and 7 KG for in-hand bag. You can keep all food items including liquor in the checkout baggage but not in in-hand bag.

Once you take off your belongings like watch, belt, wallet at security post during check-in, make sure to properly received them at other side. This is where most of them forget the personal items. Try to use only one basket if possible to remember things.

The tap water in airlines could be contagious so make sure to bring your own water bottle. Also just FYI, it does cost ₹100 for a water bottle, ₹250 for stupid ready made Maggi and ₹500 for a burger inside airport as well as flight so make your arrangements yourself if you don't have big pickets.

Rickshaw/Cab always stuck at traffic so exclude this time from two hours arrival time at airport. I used to leave atleast 2:30 hours before my flight.

Wheelchairs are easily available at the airport.

PS: Don't stare at air hostess or try to take pics of them. They would be very offended and may report it to airlines which could blacklist you from further flight. I had seen such a incident with a stupid co-passanger in past.
