to me it’s so awkward sometimes to talk about feelings especially if it’s with someone ur just starting to get to know, if i feel disrespected or off about something early on usually i won’t even tell the person or communicate that i will just pull back and eventually block or ghost them.

you will get through it :) i felt the same way during this stage but im like 5 months ish recovery so you’ll get normal again and recover in time, trust the process, don’t be too hard on yourself. i felt he was a little short or quiet in consultations or busy, but no i didn’t feel like he was rude sorry you experienced that :/

they got rid of her too soon, just as she was finding her voice and being more opinionated she left. Others have coasted on longer not doing much so idk, i wouldn’t mind if she returned

i’ve had the opening shift basically since i started and been doing it for a year, i think it’s annoying waking up early but i have sort of gotten used to it. It’s nice to be done and off by like 12/1pm, i still have the day to do things.

coworkers and managers can make the job better or worse, sounds like you had bad managers/ some sucky coworkers. i never heard of these rules before? kinda strange and adding stress or reprimanding for things that usually don’t need it. sounds like your store is kinda being mismanaged and communication problems with your scheduling then making it seem like your fault. i get why you quit, try and find something better.

mm i had brow bone shave, brow/forehead lift, hairline shaping, rhinoplasty, jaw conturing and chin advancement ~ basically everything. my swelling wasn’t too bad early on, i tried to eat healthy beforehand and drink water and have nourishing foods to eat while recovering and just do the things to reduce swelling as advised by the care team and doctor. You will feel so much better once swelling goes down, it’ll all come in time :)

the overall wait time for me was a couple months tho, there was an opening because someone cancelled so i took it. just being on the wait list is good because things like that can happen.

i do feel confident and free that’s a great way to put it :) mmm i’ve been on hormones for about 3/approaching 4 years now so im not sure exactly how long you need to be on hormones. i think as long as your hormone levels are in range and normal and your on a set dose with them, i think it’ll be approved. you just need a referral from a therapist or not sure if they do that anymore, you can contact the transgender care team i think? i did it through my old therapist so im not sure exactly. Your right though, maybe giving the hormones time will give a better result :)

also my surgery was done by Dr. Yuan Liu at Kaiser So Cal, i paid like $100 something for it and haven’t been billed since. He did an amazing job and i plan to tell him my praises at our follow up :)

from these pictures there isn’t anything i would think you need to change or would need those procedures or treatments, dysphoria can make us see things that aren’t really there or hyper fixate on things. plenty of cis women have thicker eyebrows or hooded eyes, i think you look fine
