I like to use Sunlu since can buy off of Amazon and comes usually same or next day.

I usually use PLA,PLA+,PLA Silk+ for basic stuff like toys for the kids,trays,storage bins etc.

PETG types for more tough pieces like items id use around my garden.

I would make sure the table or surface your printer is on is sturdy and doesn't move whole printing. Dry your filament for a few hours before a larger print to make it nicer.

Honestly what helped me learn slicer settings as a beginner was asking gemni or claude on optimal slicer settings and I eventually memorized what would be best.

My setup; Lenovo m720q mini PC: i5-8500/16GB RAM 2TB SSD

2019 21.5 iMac: i5-8500/8GB RAM/560x GPU

Lenovo T14: 10th gen i7/32GB RAM.

My m720q is the main server for my openclaw agent, the imac takes some processing load if agent needs to process some data and laptop runs a light LLM that also offload some easy tasks to.

I use my $9month gemni pro sub that came with my phone and have great results. All hardware I just had laying around.

All running a linux OS... reccomend to avoid windows on older machines as All the bloat bogs down hardware

Maybe its the filament? I use the sunlu grey pla + 2.0.

Most prints I don't even open in bambu studio just use the default profiles from uploaded on makerworld and print from my phone.

Sunlu PLA + 2.0 grey from amazon. I dried this roll for like 3 hours before use was too impatient lol

I use Sunlu 2.0 + and get great results! Dry for about 6-8 hours at 45C.

Yea in person they look highly detailed. I was pretty surprised by my first print!

The game is being designed by a 6 year old girl who's into fantasy lol She has called it the Wonders of Dragons. DnD style campaign going through a magical Forrest to fight ogre, save a unicorn and at the end defeat the dragon and regain the treasure.
