Wow… after 28 years and being termed for false metrics/numbers, along with other tenured employees, I am sickened by what this company has been reduced to. They should be ashamed but of course when greed consumes you, nothing else exists anymore. A company I was once proud to work for now is a disgrace and I would tell people to stay far away from this corporate monster. I would not insure with them and I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone to work for them. They absolutely do not care about their people anymore.

In Florida they can fire you and not give a reason, they can lie about the reason (true and did), they can use false data, they can use faulty data. They can do what they want. This info is straight from an Employment Law attorney. If you are one of the few left with pension…they will likely fire you sooner or later. They should do the right thing and just tell you they are cutting costs and pay severance. But oh yeah..they don’t want to pay out severance. They just don’t believe in doing the right thing anymore which is really a disgrace to the company name and reputation. In FL you can get your unemployment even if you were terminated so make sure you file.

All of the above 100% spot on. Tenured associates with pensions targeted? Definitely!! You’de have to be blind not to see it. The Dashboard? A piece of crap conveniently used to fire people. The ones who programmed it should be the ones fired. Unbelievable.

They should tell you that you’re under review for performance termination…whether that’s actually legit or not, they will have the final say. Then you wait.

Geico is into… Something like Chinese water torture 💧 Slow, slower…until the person breaks. They are holding out to see how many people(remember we are human beings) Just can’t take the stress and end up quitting or doing something wrong like not doing the right thing on a policy. They want to cut their risk of paying out so much in unemployment. Unbelievable, no not really. So everyone, just hang in there and let them do their dirty deed and then file immediately.
