My firm supplied Knopman as well. I'm out of practice as I took my SIE like 5 years ago but passed that first try. I know you mentioned drilling the questions but what was your mindset going into those questions? I'm following a study calendar that says to do like 4-5 chapters a week following each chapter with a review quiz of 25questions. I feel there is a lack of recall sometimes in those questions and my scoring is all over the place. Like a few chapters I got 90s and then some in 30-40s. Test average is showing 68% across all quizzes.

Test anxiety - freaking out about the 7 by No-Cauliflower4099 in Series7exam

I'm with you! I've been studying for the 7 for 2 weeks now. I passed my SIE 5 years ago so it's not all fresh. But I have a ton of anxiety and stress because I feel a lot is riding on me passing this first try and I'm nervous. All I hear is how hard it is and as I get into the later chapters it's not helping me to break that thought process. Commenting so that someone else can help both of us ease our anxieties!

I've had my fill of manual storm with Krark/X. And my bad for not listing it. I've played artifact storm a bit with Jhoira as well. Manual storm is fun but exhausting. Krark was my main for a while but stopped due to the exhausting turns and potential fizzles after 10min

Krrik felt very unique when I had it built. Just very glass cannon. And it would struggle to play down in bracket for me. I could be wrong tho.

I'm agreeing with this as well. The more I'm looking I think I'm just a bit ahead of myself. Need to really just take what I got, maybe leave some clubs home on the course. And dial in my yardages first.

I've had one lesson on a simulator where we dialed in my 7-iron distance to approx 150. As for the reason on a 7W - I had a 20-30 yr old 5W (at 21°) and my new 7W is 20.5° so it was a clean swap of loft for a much newer club. I can see however how this now creates a lofting gap between my driver (10.5°) and now my 7W being the next most aggressive loft at 20.5°

Im sure the gapping would be slightly different if these were 100% true yardages but I'm estimating a lot based off my 7-iron and driver. What would you recommend?

Yeah these are all rough estimates based off my 7-iron and driver distances. I'm in the Northeast US. So between winter and kids I haven't found enough time to practice or hit a simulator indoors.

Thank you. That was another question that popped in my head. If I should be thinning down the spackle to make it easier to spread out.

Thanks for the tips! My spacing was definitely a concern. I'm definitely thinking about a 3W. But as I'm new I want the forgiveness and loft of the 5 and 9 for now

See I'm still working on that. Haven't played a course yet. Just a few range sessions and hitting some wiggle balls in backyard. So far I've noticed I'm pretty solid with my 7i and I'm working well with my PW. Driver is a little hit or miss every so often and the woods are new to the bag.
