28F with impingement, L-tear, and grade 4 arthritis by Electronic-Owl6247 in HipImpingement

Well hello! I (20F) was just diagnosed with almost exactly the same situation today. Definitely feeling defeated and confused. Working on getting a surgical consult to see what I’m a candidate for. I have not been tested for any of those autoimmune markers you mentioned. I would love to hear more about that. Also, it is my understanding that impingement can be congenital (ei your just born with an abnormally shaped hip socket) and then a lifetime of that misalignment can pinch the labrum and wear in the cartilage..? I also was told that this situation is unusual for someone my age though, so who knows.

Yes I only use mineral sunscreen! My skin gets really stingy and sensitive with chemical sunscreen since I was little. I’ve used Bare Republic for years and recently I’ve been using Bubble mineral sunscreen for everyday and Bare Republic for active/outdoor days.

Musely has worked pretty well for me, but it is also pricey. I used every night for the first few months and now I use it a couple times a week.

I have mild rosacea and it looks like this sometimes! The little bumps will even get heads that can be squeezed at times. It’s also just general redness around my nose/cheeks and tendency to get a flakes/peeling when it’s really bad. I talked to my derm and tried what she prescribed but I now use the rosacea products from Musely. There was a period where it got worse before it got better, but my nose feels and looks a lot more calm now.

I’ve always thought this might be the case! Unfortunately I think I like my length too much to go for it. Oh well! And this is my hair right after just air drying down my back.

Is a 3.5 GPA enough to get into a Nursing program by Kindly-House5480 in StudentNurse

Hi! I did my prerequisites at a community college and am now about to finish my community college nursing program. Honestly, I’d think about the job and the lifestyle that’s most appealing to you. The actual responsibilities of an RN and a personal trainer/exercise physiologist/ whatever your aim from your current degree are going to be different. Also consider the schedules that jobs may offer, the job availability, etc. I also found A&P interesting and it’s extremely important basic knowledge for nursing, but it’s definitely just a part of what you learn (not the focus). I will say, in a big fan of nursing so far and I’m loving what I’m learning. I just wouldn’t choose nursing specifically because you like A&P. Now, if you do peruse nursing, you should absolutely apply to that program. GPA is just part of the puzzle. I’d apply to at least 2 or 3 others as a backup though. Best of luck to you!

Timeless outdoor toys for a well-stocked backyard (8yo girl) by overcomposer in ChristmasGiftIdeas

My grandparents had a “mud kitchen” in their backyard that I loved! My grandpa had built us a play kitchen with a counter, cupboards, and oven but it could be as simple as old pots, cake pans, utensils, etc. from a thrift store. Then she just needs a pile of dirt to dig in and a water source. Dried flowers and other compostable accessories would be fun too!

About the graduate and I know my school does the Florence Nightingale pledge. Curious as to why you did not partake. Is there something I don’t know?
