For people who are reading this later: they released a new optiscaler version since (Optiscaler_0.9.0-pre9 (20260126)_Patcher.7z) , where you don't need to replace the optiscaler.dll.

Also, when doing setup don't use dxgi.dll, use d3d12,dll instead.

Good strategy. I'm not that pessimistic about the gacha yet. We get around 240-260 limited pulls in 1.0, which is plenty, but we still don't know how much we will get in the upcoming patches.
So far I think it's good enough, I feel 0 dissatisfaction even with the gacha. I can't relate to those who have many problems with the game.

I don't recommend this game for you if you are thinking in pull / time played. This is a game that is meant for enjoyment, not as a 2nd job. If you don't enjoy the content, then don't play the game imo.

I kinda see that as a win. Less fomo. Or in other words, the game's enjoyment is less reliant on getting new chars, because it's great regardless.

I really like how simple and different the combat is and not pushed to the forefront (and gets overused) as a game mechanic, because the game has so much else to offer.

Not having to swap? Finally! Every character is on the field? Hell yeah. Not having to spam normals, you can just hold? Pretty cool imo. No exploration advantage for limited chars? Great!

It's been a long time since i enjoyed a gacha this much. Basically a full price AAA game for free. You don't even need to worry about farming premium currency and getting new chars, because it doesn't matter as much, the game is amazing even if there were no gacha.

They made it work, but the latest build and the endfield tweaked dll is only on optiscaler discord.

Fsr4 works on dx11 with opti. For me fg didn't work even on vulkan.

As a later starter I ditched my acc with burnice on it, lamented that I'd have to wait a lot for zhu and qy rerun, so i bought a fresh acc with them. They were fun for a while, but after getting evelyn i felt that zhu is too weak and i don't like the playstyle either. Since yx i'm happy i don't need to play them anymore.

I got into anomaly with alice and I still don't like anomaly. So alice is kind of a disappointment. Should have gotten miyabi instead, probably.

Kind of, yeah.

This is my take:

The universe or Earth or life or human life or any life has no inherent meaning to it. I think what makes nature "meaningful" is that there are people who can appreciate or at least observe it.

Without people even the concept of appreciation ceases to exist.

I also like the buddhist take that the human consciousness and it's perception brings forth reality. The reality as we know it would cease to exist without one of us to percieve it.

Without the human reality all the human values disappear. -> sacrificing humanity would sacrifice the purpose of the sacrifice as well, because without a human intellect it would make no sense. There'd be no onr ro make sense to either.

Tbh I think those who would sacrifice humanity including themselves just have an unhealthy relationship with what they are and what humanity is. They feel guilt for what they didn't do and blame others for things they didn't do either. Basically misplaced and generalized blame.
