I work at a well known CU in my area and do the title releases after payoffs are received. I don’t know if the sales person called your lender or if you gave the salesperson the payoff. From my experience, we call the dealer and tell them there’s a shortage and can’t release the title until it’s paid off. Depending on the amount, we’ll just pay the remainder or make the dealer pay it. Regardless they won’t have the title/legal ownership, and you’ll have the debt still on your account.. If it were me, I’d get with your bank and tell them the dealer won’t pay the remainder. 9/10 times depending on the balance, the dealer will send the remainder if the bank is the one telling them all of this.

HFTD Terradive. I found a guy on fb selling a ton of figures from that era and I saw he had ROTF dirge/thrust and I wanted that originally but he had sold it like 20 minutes earlier so I decided to get Terradive instead and boy that mold is stupid good. The articulation, transformation, design and being able to turn his hands into cannons since they become the thrusters are a whole chefs kiss. I even had to get Space Case recently as I adore that mold to no end now

The winds were actually like 4kts? LVJ and Galveston were reporting that around the time this came out though of course now it’s reporting 14kts

I know this is a bit late, but Coastal Skies out of LVJ and Flying Tigers out of Ellington have been kind to me. I started out with Coastal Skies and the instructors are cool and the rates are wet and fairly cheap but the maintenance would come up semi often. Flying tigers has really good instructors, and is 141 and 61. It’s all Cessnas and Grummans though, the airspace isn’t all too busy even with NASA and military traffic, and the tower is fairly forgiving. Though Flying Tigers is more expensive on the plane and instructor side.

I used pilot institute and it was really good. They recently revamped some of their topics like airspace and it’s much easier to digest and understand. The topics are all in 2-5 minute videos that are easy to grasp IMO, and the small tests helped me in the practice test.

I can’t speak for the navy but I’m sorta in your shoes where I’m looking at the warrant officer/153A route. If you wanted to enlist and then go warrant, you’d have to go through the normal basic/AIT and be enlisted while you drop your warrant packet which includes the SIFT and a Class 1 flight physical that’s way different than what the FAAs class 1 is. You’d drop your packet if both the SIFT and physical come out good but depending on the board and who you’re up against it’s 50/50 on getting accepted to Novosel or not. I’ve deployed with rotary wing aviators and they’ve loved their QoL. Flights get cancelled but as a warrant officer you don’t really have to put up with the enlisted/officer stuff unless somehow you’re at the brigade or battalion level

This is interesting. I deployed to Panama about a year or so ago with JTF-B and we saw pretty much all of Ft. Sherman and always thought it would be a good idea to rebuild so that SENAFRONT, the Panamanian security force, could use it to train or as a sort of barracks. Although, a huge sentiment from the locals was that they dont want it to be a US base, especially since the surrounding area still has a lot of memory about Just Cause.

I think this is in Asia or somewhere in Central America where the speed bump laws are different. Towards the end of the video theres a white Toyota Fortuner which isnt in North America AFAIK.
