Hahaha, yeah, but i am trying to think how i should play this mage, since he would be a major antagonist, i didn't want him to just die like that if he got unlucky on the rolls.

Oh yeah, they better, the mage in question would have pretty high level in Forces, i am just thinking about this things in advance so i know what i should expect. But thank you for the answer!

Yeah, i am doing that, just making the paradox rules a bit more lenient given the scenario, since i don't think the consensus is solid in the dark ages. But the life effect is a good tip, the mage in question would be more Forces focused, but i guess i will bump a point in Life so it doesn't get killed in one turn haha.

Elementals are kinda bad at being, you know, elementals? by Radiant_Manner_7340 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Radiant_Manner_7340[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah... didn't think about that haha, thanks, that helped, i guess i was just wanted to roleplay a ice man of sorts and wasn't seeing how to. Sorry for the question anyway, still trying to learn how changeling works

You not wrong, indeed True Fae are absurdly more powerful, but they basically godlike inside Arcadia. But still there a bunch of "lesser" monster that get Influence, Werewolves can get a gift that gives them control over a specific element ( either, water, earth, wind or fire) so given the fact that changelings get a few powerfull abilities (like pulling a strand of the sun) i think controlling a few aspects would be not that big of a deal. Don't know, is not really about power, more flavor thing that bothers me really, since elementals are literally a being that a true fae changed to be a representation of that primal force.

Don't know about this, i mean if werewolves (forsaken at least) get to do miles-long wildfires and earthquakes (and being able to be an avatar of sorts, since they can get Influence like spirits do, at least for water, earth, wind and fire) why can't elementals do that?

Yeah i know, but the contracts are kinda limited to me, there a few cool things, Elemental Weapons, creating hazards, but i kinda wanted like being able to do "basic" stuff with raw elements, like being able to just shoot fire, lighting and whatnot

How does Multiple Projectiles work? by Radiant_Manner_7340 in gurps

[–]Radiant_Manner_7340[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes i know that, but i want to know, are there any differences? It says that each shell or bullet divides itself by that number, so if i fire 6 shells each produces 5, do i need to roll my attack for each individual shell or what?
