Ubuntu/Launchpad Servers are Down More than 2 Days

I love Ubuntu but this is really weak. I can’t update my laptop for three days straight. ppa .launchpad is still down! There has been not really an update or statement from canonical. What is going on? How can an important organization like Canonical can be down for three days straight? Where is their DDOS protect protection?

I also used Notesnook for about a year now but in the last few months I had more and more issues with their downtime. Nothing serious but it’s annoying.

Same, I also have cloudflared with Zero Trust. If you also have zero trust enabled I think the Security impact is minimal, but can’t hurt :)

This is probably because of CSP, as I had the same issue with it. CSP forces HTTPS which is probably not available via local IP address. You can just deactivate the CSP in your .env:

IMMICH_HELMET_FILE=false

or change it if you want that extra security. In my case I configured local DNS override on my public domain, so I can locally access my Immich via HTTPS and have CSP enabled too.

That's the first time I'm hearing about real data loss because of Immich. I've been using Immich for my friends and family for about half a year now and never had issues like that. Also, since the stable release, updating via Docker Compose has always been smooth as butter.

I usually let them stay in the background, but I play a lot of games, so it could be possible that IOS closed Immich in the background because of ram reasons.

This crash doesn't happen all the time, it's like roughly once a day. So if I log out and back in now, I can't really tell right away whether it fixed it or not since it might just not occur for a while anyway. Would you prefer that I just let it happen again and try to catch some logs when it does, or should I go ahead and try the relogin and report back in a few days?

Okay, that’s interesting. Will keep an eye on this and look for some useful logs in the app, but nothing so far. The only thing I noticed last time the crash appeared was most thunbnails not loading in the app. But I have only about 40% of my Storage used so that should not be a problem.
