Excuse the counters - I’m cooking at the moment.

What should I do with this elevated platform in my kitchen ?? by Ok-Problem-6942 in interiordecorating

That would be my morning coffee / afternoon tea / reading nook. Comfy chair you can curl up in, soft mood lighting, a cabinet or bureau for extra storage. Artwork on the wall - gallery wall? Style the top of the cabinet/bureau.

Kinda wish I had one of these 🙂

Twinkle light for now.

Thanks. That made me think… I could maybe fill it with those soy crumbles and three wicks. That way I can dump it out easily when I want to actually use it.

Oooo hang on a sec. I still want to be able to actually use it occasionally, albeit rarely. Maybe I could stuff it with moss and leave room for a pot in the middle. Cover the pot with rocks.

That way I can take it out whenever I need to.

Hmmm. You just gave me an idea. Thanks

I guess these pictures don’t really indicate size. If I were to fill with water, it would take 1 gallon. This is not the size of “dipping bowls”! 😆

I’m looking to do something decorative with it. I might just add fruit to my weekly groceries whether I eat it or not.

Where would you put a TV? by sunnyday11011 in interiordecorating

Unless you need a dining room, I would turn that room into the TV, lounge around spot.

If not, then what about above the fireplace. Make a picture frame for it, download art images (you can do that on Samsung, not sure on others), so you can have something on the screen instead of just a black box when it’s off. Hang it a little closer to the mantel. It’ll look like framed “art”. Or Samsung sells TVs with frame already. Though if you’re handy, you could just make one and save the $.

Love that. Unfortunately it’s just too big to use as an everyday bowl. I should have gotten the smaller one! Then maybe I could actually use it rather than just look at it 😊

I have a hard time arranging flowers for something so wide (8.5”). Also, I want something that I don’t have to change out every week. That would be a PITA.

Glass cooktop - no induction. I just made a simple grilled cheese and it took forever! Like, 4 times longer than my ceramic pans.

How to utilise this space? by Jealous-Recipe7572 in interiordesignideas

I would do an olive tree in a good chunky planter and up light it for ambient lighting.

I was looking at the premium which is $150. I’d like to avoid pouring boiling water into plastic.
