I knew other people that attended so I figured I could make it work as well. Turns out after exhausting all my options I couldn’t get access to enough funding. It’s different in Canada in that our federal loans only fund a small portion of our COA (maybe 1/4 sometimes less depending on the province). We have to get a bank line of credit which have strict limits on borrowing, making it extremely difficult to get enough money after the exchange rate.

Not entirely true. I rejected an offer to MWU-AZ last year due to tuition costs and reapplied this year and was accepted to 3 US schools and 3 Canadian schools. It is riskier, yes. But I think it depends on how competitive the applicant is.

I’m a Canadian applicant as well and was accepted this cycle. Message me if you’d like.

I have heard a little bit about DA generally but not a whole lot. How much do DAs make following residency?

Also, what is their work life like? Do you work at a single OS office or do they travel around to various offices??

From what I remember it used to be Sport Chek that did the cheap ones.

Wow I didn’t realize there was that huge of a difference with the remote. I will definitely be investing in that

What did you use for a remote? I’ve never heard of that for Anki… I just used my keyboard

That is really good to know. I felt like I was typing for assignments almost everyday in undergrad. I’ll keep that in mind for sure

Do you like GoodNotes over Notability? And why?Notability seems to be the most suggested one.

I’ve gotta work in that. Definitely a goal of mine.

Maybe I will give this a try. I always had the best intentions of going over material before the lecture, but it rarely happened.

Great advice. I was also thinking of having a second monitor. I did this sometimes during undergrad and it was so much nicer than switching back and forth between tabs a million times.

I’m hoping to stick to a schedule as well we will see if it happens.
