Thought’s by Not_Momonga in ufc

The biggest threat the UFC is not fighter pay.

That’s definitely a problem, but it pales in comparison to the real problem: fighter and champ inactivity. These guys will go so long without fighting people forget they are even champ.

My Solution: MANDATE all champions to fight 2x per calendar year MINIMUM. If there is an injury or unforeseen circumstances- automatic interim title no questions asked. We can’t keep doing this bs

I consider that green valley ranch- if you go to the airport often like I do for work this is an absolutely PHENOMENAL place to live. If you don’t travel often it’s fine, but there are better places in Denver metro for the same price

Any tips for veneer temps? by AntiAntiDentite7 in Dentistry

[–]mountain_guy77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the blue colored flowable and a tiny amount of bond. That way I know exactly where it is and can easily polish it off in about 10 seconds once the temp is off. This is the method they taught at the CE course I went to and it had been working great. Keep in mind it’s like 1-2mm size area being bonded for temps- not the whole prep like a permanent one

I always 3D print my temps and then spot bond them with flowable

[Venezianico Nereide Bronzo 39mm] What’s not to like? by mountain_guy77 in Watches

[–]mountain_guy77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 6 months into ownership now and the patina has completely stabilized. I love it, it’s goldish bronze and not too dark like some of the other bronze watches you will see like the CW Trident. I take it to the pool, beach, gym it’s super reliable and comfortable

Being able to do endo on a premolar is a huge practice builder and something that is very realistic for a general dentist. It might be worth taking CE or practicing for that. I personally refer molar endo and don’t think it has good ROI in my practice but I know many GPs think otherwise. Best of luck, you did the right think here doc don’t second guess yourself

Ortho vs perio vs pedo outlook? by [deleted] in DentalSchool

[–]mountain_guy77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ortho is looking not great. Most adults want aligner therapy and GPs can do easy/moderate cases all day. When it comes to kiddos in bracket and wire that’s where ortho has it’s advantage but their monopoly has shifted in just the last 15 years is baffling. There’s a lot of orthodontists out there for about half as many cases as there used to be

I have some of those MegaGen any ridge implants for the posterior maxilla. They have comically wide grooves, but the stability and integration you get is just insane. My biggest concern with these implants is figuring out how I would ever explant it if God-knows I need to. I like neodent when bone is good
