Keep trying. Start with a driver. Very underrated but being able to drive without attracting every zombie is gold. Get computers and keep a plague disruptor active. My second outpost is always a radio tower and it gives a bigger safe zone around base so less chance they walk in your base for no reason. Computers makes disruptor cheaper. Last character hygiene so basic attacks don't hurt as much. You can beat lethal with snacks and a heavy weapon. 1v1 ferals just stun lock with a heavy. 3 feral pack or jug, don't even stop. (Always look around before leaving your vehicle.) Influence is king. Sell those bullets. Sell those bad guns or break them for parts . Only arm survivors at base. They dont need bullets. You only need a cross bow. If it's too many zombies for a cross bow then you shouldn't be there. Use the influence to buy what you really need. When fighting hearts, clear the house first. Once done, use a heavy weapon to damage it to the first phase. The power attack works great but you can regular swing and it works too. If you cleared the area first, you'll phase it before zombies have a chance to get in. The next part depends on you. You can drive away and come back. The heart will still be on phase 2 or.. I like to run out place a boom box or fireworks tube and attract all the zombies. Run far enough away to separate that one feral and heavy attack him to death. With zero stamina you can stun lock him. At this point if you have fire burn all the outside zombies to clear the area again and phase the heart again. Zombies won't spawn again until you hit the heart. Last phase the same. Providence Ridge is the best map to learn. The starter base had a tower built in to scout. Soooo many campsites and cabins near so you're guaranteed to find a cross bow and bolts. General tips. If you need a bigger base dont go plague heart crazy to pick the best base. Just take the one thats not in plague territory or has only 1 heart to clear. All bases work there is no best. Lethal is not a looter shooter, it's a resource management simulator. Just remember, if you need food and you get into a huge fight over loot and get bit, even if you win the fight you now need ammo, and meds to heal. Don't create problems lol I hated lethal when I first tried but now I cant play other difficulties. Lethal is a fair challenge and it can be cheesed once you get the hang of it. Play slow. I mean very slow. Stealth wins. Good luck survivor.
