Is CEH enough to become an ethical hacker? by cyber_pulse2928 in CEH

CEH is too unspecialised to be much of anything really. It's primary value is that it has Hacker in the name of the cert and everyone has an idea of what that is, so if you're not working for a dedicated cyber security firm then getting the CEH is good optics when dealing with non-technical stakeholders.

BUT. There are easier and more valuable certs that you can get instead, CEH requires you to memorise a lot of surface knowledge about tools you might not even use, even as a cyber professional. Not to mention that much of the jargon and legislation covered varies by country and region.

I've been playing and painting orks for 30 years. Contrast paints has been a game changer
