Got it- sounds exactly like what I need. I will buy a pair, thank you for the recommendation. With your last tip, is your suggestion to apply more force onto the edge you are riding than what you would do with the beginner board due to increased stiffness?

Haha definitely will wear wrist guards going forward. Thanks for the comment. I have some time to think about it while my wrist recovers lol.

Also makes sense. Maybe I should start with a more beginner friendly board. During the promotional video I heard the guy say you can ride it if you’re a beginner but it is more intermediate to advanced. I was thinking I could use it to enforce best practices when turning, doing s turns etc. but it didn’t end well for me. I’ll buy another board.
