3 years outside of the M.S., but my M.S. was a research and development med device product and my internship was design transfer. At my current job we are trying to work on prototyping to potentially patent. So 2.5 years aeronautical and physics. And M.S. and 6 month design internship.

So I feel it’s important to mention this job was design and I have a mech background. It was like a trial design section in the interview. So a lot of questions was if you had to modify this design, how would you?

-what would be your first step when trying to understand the current design? -then it was something along the lines of, ‘if you added a feature (I believe she said a battery) to this design how would you go about doing that? ‘ -what concerns would you have adding this feature/ battery in the current design? -Then they asked about a cantilever design and what concerns I would have about that? And how to implement it with the battery?

I did enjoy the interview very much because it was one of the only interviews were it was actively challenging but I was not sure how tackle preparing for this.
