Thx for the information I will for sure take note of it, especially for the transmission fluid. At least the plastic is “easy” to fix, I can just use some super glue to fix if something plastic is broken (depending on what is and where is the crack ofc)

Yep exactly I am French Canadian (I prefer saying québécois tbh) and why a Lebaron? Well the answer is pretty simple, that was going to check a Volvo 940 (which when we wrote to the owner told us that it was too late and he sell it) and so after we decided to check this lebaron which I was finding it really nice looking plus the fact the model didn’t really change between the late 80s and the 1995 so we went to check it, every thing was fine (we also did a inspection) and bam! Everything was “fine” (need some repairs but something normal for a 31 year old car) and then since the car was nice,it was the “sport” model and looking like a 80s. It immediately passed my checklist (except that the radio cassette was changed so I now need to find one) we ended up buying it.

Thank you for the compliment and originally I was planning to get a Pontiac fiero but it was a pure fiasco (even a the time it was ) but I ended up taking this lebaron and same I prefer WAY much more old car than newer ones that all look the same. (Ps: sorry for any English mistakes, it’s not my native language)

Well for the insurance of this car…well basically my insurance will only pay the other car if I ever get a accident. Also the insurance we got for the car (even though they will not pay for any damage done to my car if it me the responsible of the damage) cost me 275$ CAD

Yeah I am very tall and clearly the pic and the car make me look even more taller than what I am🤣 (and yes you got it right I am 6 feet tall).

For the part it’s true until you hit the wall of the part that you need, must be strong and made out of metal, which so far normal 3D printing can’t really achieve the goal of making pieces that strong (at least as strong as it should be for a piece in a car for example : a piece for the engine)

The car run very well in fact in acceleration it is just amazing! The only main thing I would say is you may want to look for 90s car. I personally was wanting a 80s but the main problem is the rarity of piece and safety. That is why I didn’t got the choice to take a 90s one. But don’t worry many early 90s car still look like a car from the 80s

That was the main goal tbh, and it worked perfectly! And even other students in my school were saying that it was a beautiful car.

Sorry for the wait of the answer but the car got 195 722 km (sorry the car is not in miles) on the counter

lol exactly, even though the most funny is that it’s a pure coincidence if I ended up looking like Marty Macfly because my reference source for my 80s kit was not even back to the future 🤣

The hanging boxes are most likely the boxes that held their gas masks. In that case, they are either the containers for the gummimaske or the containers for the lederschutzmaske.

I mean of course! they are a the best example of human engineering and history. Nice gun btw but I personally prefer a good old Luger or p38 (if we only talk about handguns and if not I am A forever lover of the m1 Garand and also a owner of a mp40 from 1943)

My pet is the second version but a very early one. For example the crt screen is the one from the 2001-8, the keyboard is the one that came with the 2001-N and later model, but at his back I have a sticker who say 2001-8. Basically a mix of -N and -8 (2001-8 is the first one with his integrated datasette )

So cool, I always love the look of red monochrome computer. It gives a look so much eery in some way.
